Session Description:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
― Marianne Williamson

What were you told about your body growing up?  Were you celebrated or were you criticized?  Were you teased for being thin or not thin?  Were you made to feel like you didn’t belong, that somehow your space in the world was only offered to you if you looked like everyone, an unrealistic standard that you kept reaching for? Did you ever walked into a fitness class and feel you didn't belong, or not even gone out of fear?

It’s the same with the people who are taking or teaching your classes.

In order to shine our much-needed light for those who have come together for the same purpose, we must tap into our personal power without confines. Addressing and accepting our darkness allows us to shine our light, and help others do the same - creating a soft space for everyBODY, because every body is Sleek, Sexy and Powerful.

The frustration of being a stay at home mom with a baby and a 1st grader after moving to a city where she knew no one to follow her husband’s career changed the course of Tasha’s life. Desperate to separate herself from a previous life obesity and eating disorders, she wandered into a local, Women’s-Only gym to sign up and found out they were hiring sales people.

With her bachelor’s and Masters degree still packed in a box, she accepted the minimum wage job and found her passion.

Now an international presenter, Tasha has presented at numerous event including; IDEA World Conference, Momentum Fest, Brink Conference, Flex & Flow Empowerment Camp and ACTIVATE conference. As a previous ambassador to companies like Under Armour Women and a current ambassador for NOW Foods, Tasha, who is also certified as a personal trainer, Integrative Nutrition coach, yoga instructor and NCPT Pilates Instructor, is now one of the leading voices in the forefront of challenging body biases and creating inclusion for all.
